After winning Sydney’s best and fairest in 2008, Jarrad McVeigh was sixth in 2009 and fourth last year. Now regarded as an elite player, he is a hard-running midfielder in his own right after spending several seasons as a tagger. A local product, he has developed into a dangerous goalkicker and his hard work around the packs is critical to the Swans’ fortunes.
