For the first time the Demons history we fielded 6 teams in Round 1 of the Sydney AFL. Remarkably, by 9.50pm Saturday night, the Club had completed a clean-sweep … winning all of the 6 starts. Off-field the day was also a raging success with the 2 games at once on the top and lower grounds at MKO working better than expected - Thanks to everyone who helped to make this a most memorable start to the 2015 footy season. Unfortunately 30 seconds into the game one of our young stars Reagan Pinker had a bad break of fibula needing 8 screws needed to be inserted. Reg's amazed those around him making jokes and smiling while we waited for on the ground for nearly an hour for the ambulance to arrive. Amazing courage! It would be great to see a big crowd of support travel to Manly to support the boys.

Welcome all Players, Members, Supporters, Parents, Families and Friends to the 2015 season. 2015 is an exciting year for the club with a record 6 teams and a new initiative where we are playing games on both the top and bottom grounds at MKO. Round 1 sees 5 teams at home with us playing St George in Prems (6.30pm), St George in Div 1 (4.30pm), Balmain in Div 3 (2.30pm) on MKO 1 and on the lower ground we play St George in Under 19 Div 1 (2.30pm) and Southern Power in Under 19 Div 2 at 4.30pm. Away is Div 5 against Moorebank at 11.00am. We would love to see all Members, Supporters, Past Players, Family and Friends at the Club to support the teams. Go Penno. P.S.
