From The President 

All coaches for the upcoming season have been appointed, and all teams are back at Mike Kenny Oval training in preparation.

Some new information and announcements from around the Club as we lead into the 2026 Season:

Elevated League
During last season, the Club was provided with a presentation regarding the intention of AFL Sydney to commence a new competition from the beginning of Season 2027, with the Elevated League to replace the current Premier League structure. Pennant Hills, along with all other clubs that participate in the current Premier League completed a lengthy expression of interest at the conclusion of last year.

During December, the EOI phase was completed and the application for licence commenced. The submission for a licence closed on the 27th of February, and I am please to share that Pennant Hills has formally submitted our application for license to the Elevated League.

The number of clubs that currently participate in the Premier Division will be reduced at the completion of the license allocations. Teams involved in the Elevated League will be Men’s & Women’s Premier Division, along with the U19 Division 1 Men & U20 Women. All other teams will remain in the current Division competition structure.

Sponsorship
As you would all be aware, in order for our club to operate and provide the services that we do; including Strength & Conditioning, Physio & Medical, payment of club umpires etc.; we need the ongoing support of Club Sponsors.

Women’s Program
The Club is excited to announce that we have engaged AFLW Giants Player, Georgia Garnett, to assist the Women’s program with development for the next few months. GG has already been involved in training sessions with the women’s playing group and they are all excited to have an AFLW player of her level involved with leading them into 2026.

Club Membership

Commencement of Season 2026
Season 2026 will officially commence on Saturday 28th of March, with the Men’s Premier Division, Division 1 Men’s and Under 19’s Division 1 teams playing against Southwest Sydney at Bob Prenter Reserve, Macquarie Fields. The times for these games are to be advised.

The Women’s Premier Division have a Bye for Round 1. All other teams will commences the 2026 Season on the 11th of April, following the Easter Long Weekend.

Trial Games
Several trial games have been scheduled for the pre-season. The first trial games are confirmed for Saturday 7th of March at Balmoral Reserve, Balmoral Road Kellyville versus the East Coast Eagles.

The Division 1 Men will kick off the day, commencing at 9am. This match will be followed by:

• Premier Division Men at 11am
• U19 Division 1 Men at 1:30pm
• Premier Division Women at 3:00pm
• Men’s Division 3/5 at 5pm
