Heartbeat Issue #13 – Round 11 in the Books

From The President

Last weekend saw us playing many of our away games at Henson Park against the UNSW-ES Bulldogs.

Round 11 became a typical winter round with rain affecting most of our games. Some great skill and real Demon spirit was on display, in heavy rain and wet conditions. The round started on Friday night with our Men's U19 Division 2 side beating the North Shore Bombers by 10 goals.

The Saturday games were highlighted by the outstanding 4th quarter display from our Men's Premier team to result in a victory, a fantastic display by the Men's U19 Division 1 to win against UNSW by 3 points and 30 point win by our Men's Division 1/Reserves team.

I cannot fail to mention the fantastic performance by the Masters team with a 14 goal victory over Manly Warringah at Manly in Jarrod 'Jazz' Myers 200th Open-Age game.

All scores and stats for each of the games for matches can be seen below, with reports from the coaches.

This weekend sees us on the road again, with most of our teams playing against UTS. Please keep an eye on club communications regarding timings and locations of all games as we head into Round 12.

This Saturday night we also see the annual Demon Disco taking place at Hotel Harry's Surry Hills, with a 7pm start. Make sure you purchase your ticket and get along to this great annual Club social event. View the Pennant Hills Demons website for full details.
