Selected as pick #34 in the 2018 NAB AFL Draft, Kieren Briggs has been selected to debut for the GWS Giants against Richmond this weekend.

Kieren’s first game will see him play against Richmond at Marvel Stadium this weekend, in Round 9 of the 2021 season.
Developed through the GWS Academy, Briggs will be a big asset for the Giants, playing a dominant ruck position given his height (200cm) as well as the ability to transform into a forward role. Since being drafted in 2018, Kieren has spent time developing his playing skills alongside GWS ruckmen including Shane Mumford and Matt Flynn.
Before the start of Round 9, Briggs’ jumper (#32) was presented to him by past GWS Co-Captain & current teammate, Callan Ward.
Congratulations to Kieren on this achievement, we’re so excited to watch you on the big screen!
