Our Women’s Program brings together performance pathways and community football, providing opportunities for players with different levels of experience, ambitions and commitments.

Community Women’s Football – Play Your Way
Not everyone’s football ambitions are the same. Our community football program provides opportunities for women to compete, develop, stay active and enjoy the game in a supportive club environment. Through divisional football, and potential additional U20s opportunities as the program grows, we aim to provide a place for players of different abilities and experience levels.
Whether you’re returning to football, transitioning from juniors or starting something new, community football is an important part of the Demons Women’s Program.
Our Northwest Football Pathway
Great football communities start with strong junior clubs. We’re proud to work alongside junior clubs, schools and football communities across Sydney’s Northwest to support young women continuing their football journey beyond junior competition. Our U20s program provides a vital connection between junior and senior football, with opportunities to progress into Premier Division or community competitions.

Schools & Football Development
Schools play an important role in introducing girls and young women to Australian Rules Football, developing their skills and encouraging lifelong participation in the game. Pennant Hills AFC is committed to strengthening connections between schools, junior football clubs and senior football opportunities across Sydney’s North and Northwest. We recognise that a young player’s football journey can begin in many places. For some, it’s their local junior club. For others, it’s a school football program, interschool competition or simply their first experience kicking a Sherrin with friends.
Our aim is to connect those experiences. We encourage girls who discover football through school to continue their development with their local junior club, while supporting opportunities for existing junior players to participate in school and representative football. Through these connections, our junior club partnerships and the Women’s U20s Program, we’re helping build a sustainable pathway from school and junior football into senior competition.
More girls discovering football. More girls playing club football. More young women continuing into senior football.
Built, Not Bought.
We believe in developing players, creating opportunities and building a football community where women want to belong: CLUB. TEAM. SELF. Whatever your football ambition, we’d love to help you find your place.
