Kieron Coaldrake's 150 Game

This weekend the Club celebrates Kieron Coaldrake's 150th Open-Age game for the Pennant Hills Demons.

Kieron, age 29, is in his 13th season with the Demons after arriving at the Club in 2013. Kieron’s footy journey started at Pennant Hills Juniors in 2009, playing 49 games over four seasons. During this time, he also played rugby league on Saturdays.

In 2013, he joined the Pennant Hills Under 18s and was a member of the 2013 Under 18 Division One Premiership winning side. That same year,
he also gained his first experience in open-age footy, appearing in three games for the Men’s Reserves.

Kieron, as one of the taller players at the Club, was an obvious choice as a ruckman, and has fulfilled this role in the reserve grade side for almost
a decade. He was a key player in the 2018 Premier Division Reserves Premiership winning side.

After many years ‘knocking on the door’, Kieron finally made his Premier Division debut in 2025; an away win against St George and kicked his first goal for the seniors. They say ruckmen take longer to reach their peak performance, don’t they?

Kieron has won several team awards and his popularity among his teammates has earned him Player’s Player on three occasions. He was Best Team Man in 2018 and Most Consistent in 2021.

Congratulations Kieron on achieving this significant milestone!

Go Penno!
