Let's show our support towards former Demon play, Adam Smith and his family.
Recently, former Penno Seniors player Adam Smith's son, Hamish, was diagnosed with a rare childhood cancer, and the family are raising funds for 2 charities.
To support Adam and his family, the Hornsby-Berowra Eagles Junior AFL Club is hosting a ‘Greatest Shave’ style event. Everyone is invited to attend this event this Sunday 14 April at Rofe Park. (Galston Road, Hornsby Heights.)
This event is to include his teammates, friends and other kids at our club and also while he is well enough to be able to attend such an event.
At the request of Adam & Sarah, no funds are being raised for the family, although funds are being raised for 2 charities - Neuroblastoma Australia & Redkite.
If you can support these charity organisations (and where appropriate) reach out to the family with love and support, I’m sure they would be very grateful.
