Heartbeat Issue #10 – Wet Weather Impacted Round
June 7, 2026

Last weekend saw our first rain affected round for Season 2026.
From The President
Unfortunately, with the heavy rain leading up to the weekend the Council closed the Lower Ground affecting several games that were scheduled to be played.
Games that were postponed on the bottom ground will now be played on the weather weather round on the 11th of July.
We were lucky enough to have games played on the top oval which remained open, as well as a couple of games away from home. There were mixed results amongst our teams that played.
Highlights to mention include the Men's U19 Division 1 win, the U20's Women's team winning 111 to Nil and the Division 1 Men's team fighting back from behind to steal a draw. All results, statistics and match reports can be seen below.
With the June long weekend, we have a weekend off of football with a chance to refresh before returning for Round 9, with most of our teams playing away at Kelso Park North against St George.
Enjoy the long weekend off and Go D's.
