Round 15 saw us back at home at Mike Kenny Oval to take on various teams in different grades, with most of our top teams competing against the St George Dragons. The cold and wet conditions provided for some great wet weather football.
Some great results for our Club were achieved around the grounds. We also celebrated a couple of milestone games for our players. Mitchell Trenamen celebrated his 150th Game at home, playing in a nail-biting win for the Men's Division 1, with the team cinching the lead with 30 seconds to go. The never give attitude on full display.
Tim Wolnizer also celebrated his 150th Game in the Men's Masters away game versus the Wollondilly Knights.
There was also lots happening around the Club off of the field. It was the Official Round for 100 Years of the Phelan Mostyn Medal, and our former medal winners Matt Carey & Stephen Wray were interviewed at half time of the Men's Premier Division Game, reflecting on 100 years of the Phelan Medal as past winners.
Our women's program for our 2026 Ladies Day banded together and hopped on a 'party bus' to watch the inaugural international Australia versus Ireland AFLW match. This was a great opportunity for our women to bond off the field and share in this historic moment.
Congratulations to all teams on the effort displayed on the day, regardless of results. The Men's Premier Division have now secured a place in the finals for Season 2026, with several others on the verge of securing their play to play September football.
This weekend sees us on the road again playing at various grounds, with the senior teams playing against Manly Waringah at Weldon Oval.
Please check timings of all games to ensure no changes have occurred. See you down at Weldon Oval to support our teams against Manly
